Tax Planning Checklist (2022)

We are officially into July, which means we are entering the second half of the year. And even though there are six months ahead of us, why wait until year-end to get started on your tax planning? There are many strategies that require discussions as we get closer to December 31st. However, there are plenty of planning opportunities we can work through ahead of time as well. We don't recommend waiting until the last minute, as some strategies require thoughtful planning. Some key ones, like charitable giving, should trigger coordinated discussions with your CPA before making those decisions.

So, what should you do? Well...start by checking out our Annual Tax Planning Checklist. This list is not meant to be comprehensive, nor will every planning strategy be relevant to each individual. It will, however, provide a pretty thorough base to work off as you inch closer to 2023.

Take a look and let us know of any questions. We'd be happy to help.
